Led by Hamburg partner Carla Luh Hogan Lovells has advised Hamburg Commercial Bank on the project financing of Swedish onshore wind farm Målarberget with 27 Vestas wind turbines and 113 MW nominal power.
The Målarberget project is owned by Enlight Renewable Energy, who bought the wind farm project from WKN GmbH. The overall investment volume is EUR 138m. Close of deal is expected by the end of the second quarter in 2021.

Hogan Lovells advised Hamburg Commercial Bank on all aspects of the project financing including the due diligence and the finance documentation, together with Mannheimer Swartling for Swedish local law issues.
Carla Luh, Head of Infrastructure, Energy, Resources and Projects in Germany said: “We are very pleased that we were able to support Hamburg Commercial Bank with our legal expertise in this complex transaction.”
This marks the second financing in Sweden within one year that Carla Luh and her team have advised on. Last year the team advised on the financing of 42 MW onshore wind farm Brännliden.
